Today I've been to Venice beach and it was awesome! Nancy and Phil picked Ashley and me up with their big green van around ten in the morning (We didn't went to church this morning, because the boys are really sick]. Well, it was like an hour driving, but I had fun in the car Ashley and I listened to each others music, comparing what music Dutch people listen to the music Americans do. It was cloudy that today, but the temperature was good, luckely. I'm really tired so, I'm gonna tell about Venice tomorrow, but here are some pictures.

In venice beach are a lot of souvenir stores. And people selling along the street. One thing I noticed, were all the advertisements for getting a pass for $ 150 as a permit to get marihuana, legally. And every other men that tried to sell attracted Phil, all day long. Funny was that they said to us 'Don't go to Amsterdam anymore, just get the pass'. Then I'd say I come from Holland, and they were laughing as if 'Oh, Amsterdam....' Like Holland is weed, and that's about it.
There were many people on Venice Beach, though lot of 'creepy' people too. People begging, with things around there necks like 'WE ARE FUCKED', 'Donate money for marihuana or give a little of yours', also there was one guy who had on his neck 'Pigeons killed my parents, need money for a BB gun' and when he turned the thing around it said 'WHY LIE? I NEED A BEER'. They were friendly, though creepy. As Nancy said: 'In Hollywood scary people come out at night, in Venice scary people are out all day'.
Beside the creepy people, there were also street performers, many. Dancers, a men walking on glass, those people who pretend to be a statue and start moving when you put money in their box, and also people with a little puppy, saying it was for sale. The cute little dog was probably stolen.
The Pacific Ocean was beautiful. It was cloudy, but at some points there was a break between the clouds and then the sun beams would shine trough; and with the sailing boats on the ocean, it was a beautiful view.
At this moment, we're all sitting in the living room. The boys are really sick. Jacob has sore throat, but Hunter strep throat, which is contagious. Janet sniffing on the coach, with a severe head ache and a sore throat. I'm a little scared to get sick too. In America, by the way, the don't have the Mexican flu, but instead they have the swine flu. But the symptoms are sort of alike, so it could well be that it's the same flu. Well, hopefully, I'll stay healthy and well and enjoy my last week in the States!!
